Change of schedule has been confirmed

Because African Cup of nations from 2023 is moved to January 2024, plus another major football world competition is staging in November / December periods, hence the qualifiers have been shifted as well. On 31 July the confederation has revealed the revised schedule of the remaining elimination games where all are going to be staged next year.

As first two rounds were played on summer (June), three and four originally supposed to kick-off off this September. Now new dates are between 20 and 28 March. Fifth phase would begin out of 12 as far as 20 June, while sixth have to be held from 04 until 12 September. The old layout said that the last two stages had to be played in March 2023.
