On 22 September the local media has was revealed that '777 Partners' have bought 99.9 percent capital in the collective for 150 million euros, which will go to the current president and Italian businessman Enrico Preziosi who owned them from June 2003.
The private investment company from United States of America have small stakes at the Spanish team Sevilla as well.

Alleged racist behavior punished

At the beginning of this month there was a qualifying match for the World Cup 2022 tournament between Hungary and England. During the play midfielders Jude Bellingham and Raheem Sterling have heard racist behavior in the likes of monkey chants from the home crowd. Also, Hungary supporters are charged with throwing different objects onto the terrain, fireworks, with blocking stairways, who together with the racist part, has just 'ignited' the possible penalty who was on the way for the association.
Because everything was reviewed from back then, analyzed and finally the world football organization in an express manner (only 19 days after this incident) has reached the decision: two games behind closed doors, out of which one is suspended of two years and 200.000 Swiss francs (183.471 euros) fine.

24 September 2021

Different sectors have entered as partners

With the beginning of this month five new partners can advertise within games that the Asian football organization are staging.
On 01 September, the coffee brand PhinDeli became sponsors for the first time who is coming from Vietnam. The debut entrants have signed a deal for 2021 and 2022 or until the end of the World Cup qualifying matches.
Just 24 hours later Credit saison have joined as fellow associates. For four years (2021-24) this financial service company will promote its products throughout stadia within the region. At the same date, the first ever specialized television sport channel from Oman signed with the confederation, just in time to broadcast elimination duels for the World Cup. The deal that Oman sport have the rights to show these games are until the finish of the qualifying event.
If anyone is on board the ship or an airline that offer Sport 24, then it will be real pleasure to watch duels while travelling. Except domestic rights for Australia, Japan and People's Republic of China passengers (who are outside these three countries) will not miss any football moments from 2021-24 period of club and team tournaments.
And three days ago viewers in Macau are going to watch top competitions thanks to M plus sports media company limited. The local online streaming broadcaster will show the best from team and club competitions on its territory from 2022 until 2024.

23 September 2021

Great money loss

Up to 30 June the financial net loss for this year at Juventus was 209.9 million euros. Because the 2020-21 season was played completely on empty stadia (not having an income flow from selling tickets, television broadcasts, transfers...), this sharp decline has reached a record high at the club. With this black scenario, six days ago the Italian team has also announced a "significant loss" is expected for the current season (2021-22), but some economic hope of improvement may come in 2022-23 (next football year). From 414.1 the operating costs went up to 449.3 million euros, while the debt has also increased (compared to last year): out of 385.2 million now is 389.2 million euros. Overall revenue has fall down to 19 percent up until the mentioned date from the beginning of the text.
The reason is more than obvious of why this happened. But blaming it mostly on the epidemic issue, the club also wanted to earn / boost its financial status on the abandoned, closed and stubborn idea whose everyone was against it saying that "it is not certain to predict with certainty the outcome and future development of the Super league project, of the legitimacy of which Juventus remains confident".

22 September 2021

Foreign referee on a domestic league game

It looks like the international club competitions are not the only one who will officiate with a foreign 'man in blue'.
Jarred Gillett was announced yesterday as a first foreign referee that is going to lead the match between Watford and Newcastle from the English Premier division this weekend. Besides the A-league in his home, the experienced 34-year-old from Queensland, Australia officiated duels at the Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Saudi leagues as well.

21 September 2021

Three rounds ahead with a backward number

We know that in June two rounds were cancelled from the South American qualifying matches of the World Cup. One of those got played this month (where one game was even abandoned), while the other one, hopefully, is going to be whole completed in October. However the schedule will go backwards again.
Because duels from phase number 06 were in June, last Monday it was revealed that 05 is going to be played next month. As the original layout says that couple of stages have to be played, the postponed one will be squeezed between those two: on 07 October will be round 11, three nights later old pairs are from 05, so that at 14 October finishes with stage 12.

20 September 2021

Losing a main sponsor

According to Spanish media, one of the biggest online retailing company will not resume its contract with Barcelona. The deal with Rakuten was first signed in October 2016 (for four seasons) to successfully promote on their shirts where in return the club was paid 55 million euros each year (beginning from 2017-18). Because the agreement contained a clause of extension to one more year, at October 2020 this sum was cut by 25 million with the explanation reason out of the appearance of the epidemic, thus the team received 30 million euros (starting of 2021 season). Expiring date of the contract is 30 June 2022, and last Thursday it was decided that it will not be renewed.

19 September 2021

Need to pay hefty damage

Once again it is proved that mistreating women is a crime that does not pay and can go to prison. For the second part, Jerome Boateng still will have to wait whether he will go to jail or not, but as the paying is concerned, it is already decided and has been ordered to give 1.8 million euros to his girlfriend.
Sherin Senler has accused the 33-year-old footballer of domestic violence, the verdict was deliberate body harm together with verbal abuse and the result that 10 days ago the Munich District court gave away is the highest penalty so far. The defender has denied all allegations, however he admitted there was a quarrel between them (during a game of cards) where that incident happened on the Caribbean vacation in July 2018, who now the player have appealed the sentence.
Under the law, the above behavior is punishable of up to five years behind bars.

18 September 2021

Because of coup 90 minutes is enough

Since 05 September when military forces captured the president of its country, many matches in Guinea have been either postponed or moved away on neutral venue. The impossibility to play at home first has felt Morocco who had to play the World Cup qualifying game and miraculously escaped the country one day later, but last Wednesday came the question of what will happen to the clubs on international scene.
Because every participant have to be safe the African football organization has decided that all three Guinean representatives at the preliminary phase would face a single game on the terrain of its opponents. In the mean time one of them has finished its business on 12 September, so only two are left (Ashanti golden boys and Club industriel de Kamsar) where those duels are going to be played this Sunday at the Confederation Cup and Champions league.

Shouts of joy from both ways

In the next three consecutive nights throughout the European continent plenty of matches will be taking place concerning the international club competitions, and commencing from group stages spectators from both teams can be present at the arenas.
From January 2020 (when the epidemic first circulated onto the region) all stadia months later literally looked like ghosts. Because no one was punished, football had to restart somehow from scratch, so clubs have been adapting (like it or not) of playing in front of empty arenas. Then slowly (step by step) came the introduction of the home fans and all games ahead had a special meaning of why this sport was invented. However, full cause of why this will be enjoyable to watch is that (finally) the visiting fans are going to be reunited with their opposing rivals (spectators) who are allowed to enter stadia, and whose decision was granted from the European football organization of last Monday.

Couple of stories from a finished elimination event

From last week on five confederations were played plenty of qualifying games for the World Cup tournament next year, and within those dates happened two news: one good, while the other was bad.
Beginning with the historic achievement of Lionel Messi who helped Argentina to record three new points against Bolivia yesterday night. Giving three targets in this game, the 34-year-old magician became the best goal scorer on the South American continent with 79, surpassing the even greatest Edson Arantes do Nascimento (better known as Pele) from Brazil who in his time 77 times rolled the ball behind goalkeepers. However, the world record holds Cristiano Ronaldo from Portugal which gave 111 goals. As the upper numbers are presented at total in international plays, with 26 targets the Argentinian striker is also the leader for the elimination matches from World Cups. In second place is the Uruguayan Luis Suarez who achieved 25 times to get the ball behind the goal-line.
Literally at the start of these qualifiers Ruslan Valiullin saved his team from loosing against Ukraine at stoppage time. The story behind here is that the Kazakhstan midfielder was played positive on forbidden drugs. Controversial duel was at the Conference league between Zilina and Tobol played on 12 August, where the visiting midfielder had a positive sample. At the association these results came on 02 September or just 24 hours after the World Cup elimination game. Under the rules of the European football association, one case is not enough for Kazakhstan to forfeit the match with 0:3.

Problems with last tournament of 2021

At the end of each year we know that the winners of the six confederations (from the Champions league) are sending their clubs (to warmer parts of the globe) only for spectators to find out on which continent is playing the best football. Because of the ongoing epidemic situation the Club World Cup from 2020 was moved to 2021, thus there is a chance that the competition will be held onto December (like it used to be), or even again be shifted at 2022 (which is unfavorable time to play due to other events staging from this sport).
However, which country is going to host the final club tournament is difficult to say because Japan officially (according to local media at 08 September) has withdraw to welcome the sextet on its soil, so the world football organization has only confirmed this news yesterday. For this year the country has hoped to organize the event who is also having one special meaning: Japanese football association is celebrates 100 years of its existence. They were born (formed) in 1921, and one centennial (well 98 years to be exact) later one disease came which (still) causes an absolute mess in the world.
Commencing of the last competition of 2021 has formally three months left to start so by now is known that the clubs will travel to a new and unknown destination.
