Player under doping

Second leg of the European Cups (leagues) competitions are already gone, but after the first, one player was caught up how he was cheating.
After Shakhtar Donetsk - Napoli in Champions league, Darijo Srna is officially suspended from all football tournaments. On 18 September he failed a drug test, which gave it in March. Now the 35 year old is cooperating with national anti-doping centre of Ukraine. Some media are saying that this will be the end of his career or the Shakhtar Donetsk captain can be suspended up to four years.

Illegal ticket selling

Four officials from Juventus has been heavily fined along with the club itself. At the start of last week, the Italian football federation has suspended the president of the team Andrea Agnelli by banning him to one year due to illegal ticket selling. The 41 year old gave tickets to the ultra fans of the team which then same spectators resell illegally to the free market. Agnelli has admitted that he met with leader of the fans Rocco Dominello, who spent 8 years in prison for various offences, and is connected with Calabrian mafia gang 'Ndrangheta. Ticketing director Stefano Merulla and former marketing director Francesco Calvo also got one year ban, while dismissal of 15 months plus 20.000 euros fine got security director Alessandro d'Angelo. Serie A champions are also penalized with 300.000 euros.
Giuseppe Pecoraro, main prosecutor in this case, wanted 2 and a half year suspension for the president, financial fine and two matches behind close doors for the team.

Do not want to play agreed preparatory game

Finding a sparring partner maybe its easy as it seems, but reality shows otherwise. One of the qualified teams for the next World Cup in Russia, South Korea, seven days ago suddenly find out that Tunisia would not be playing against them. The African team stated 'inner problems' as their reason without giving any further explanation. This already agreed friendly was supposed to be played on 10 October in Switzerland.

Change of venue

One of the last games in September there was one sudden suspension. Due to the soaked pitch Croatia had to be re-played the match against Kosovo the other day.
That is why against Finland, the Croatian FA wants to change the venue from Osijek to Rijeka for 06 October. Finnish manager Lennart Wangel is not too happy about it saying that it has already finalized all plans to Osijek. In the mean time, FIFA and UEFA has approved the shift.

Bad behaving dog

Everyone is saying that dogs are our best friend, but is not always the case. An unusual incident happened last Friday where a dog attacked and bite a 21-months old baby while he was playing in his yard. The owner of this animal was Chilean Angelo Henriquez. The unfortunate toddler needed 50 stitches in hospital, he is out of life danger, however has injuries in his head, face and ears. Since then, the Dinamo Zagreb striker is in everyday contact with boys parents, regret the incident and wished little Mario a quick recovery.
