Lawsuit filed

One of the biggest football name of the Iberian Peninsula is being blamed for dishonesty, of whom simultaneously, with one other (their opponents from that time) are also mentioned in a negative way.
Accused of tax fraud, match fixing and corruption, this Tuesday the Portuguese court has officially filed a lawsuit against Benfica and its former officials (boss and advisor) together with ex directors from Vitoria futebol clube. Happening on the period between 2016 and 2019, the club from Setubal would deliberate lost 2 of its championship games, while in exchange the former Benfica director (Luis Felipe Vieira) has agreed player transfers to financially benefit their rivals and for these businesses has paid 1,3 million euros. For giving / receiving unreasonable advantages and tax deception with criminal activities Benfica is indicted with active corruption, whilst their opponents were charged with a passive one (with the same scheme).
Hence, prosecutors wants Luis Felipe Vieira to stop perform any job in football for 5 years, and his former club to be expelled from all sport tournaments.
