Unusual start

Because of a very important event in football that the world is going to experience November / December period on a team level, the three international competitions on a club level have to commence one week earlier. Usually there trio is having kick off around middle of this month every year, thus this is the first and only time for the official 2022-23 group phase season to start too soon. With two fixed kick-offs until the end, the schedule for 96 clubs for round one will look like this:

Only one debutant is going to participate in Champions league for this year: Eintracht Frankfurt.

Ordered to pay the transfer fee

He signed for his new club, but never played for it. This is aftermath of the tragic story of Emiliano Sala who, unfortunately, passed away in a helicopter accident on 21 January 2019. Couple of days earlier the striker have moved from Nantes to Cardiff city, and since then these two were in a brawl of who what has to pay.

Welsh team has defended itself saying that the Argentine did not participate even a second for them, while their counterparts were objecting that they have already sold the player. By the known rule of what you sold you have to pay up, finally, on 26 August the Court of Arbitration for sport brought the decision that Cardiff city club have to deliver its first part of installment which was previously agreed of six million euros.

Fears of espionage

Last Thursday the German newspaper Bild has issued a strange and also a funny article at the same time concerning one famous local club that won lots of trophies.

In order to get away from everybody, players of Bayern Munich are going to train on a secret venue. The latest confirmation is a desire from the club to build a new training centre completely hidden from the public. As important matches looms young and other talented footballers can prepare in peace without spying from any external scouting agents and managers. No other details were published.

How is this possible and can it be avoided from everyone without being seen, it is difficult to explain. But if true, in that case the location would be known only by the management.

Jersey at museum

At World Cup final of 1986 in Mexico Argentina have met with West Germany. The result from this game is not important here, but what is, was that Lothar Matthaus exchanged jerseys with Diego Maradona at half time. Probably this will all be meaningless to read only to find out that 36 years later the uniform of the Argentine star was donated in a football museum. Seven days ago the legendary number 10 shirt is exhibited at a Legends building in Madrid.

For this generous move the former German captain received a plaque in honour of his career and contribution to sport values from the Embassy of Argentina located in the Spanish capital.

Robbed player in his home

Burglary at houses of famous footballers are continuing, and this time the latest victim was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Last weekend (on Sunday night) the 33-year-old received a hit in the chin with a bar, while his wife got kicked in her head at their home in Castelldefels. The four violent cowards (who were also armed) took a jewelry from the safe, police was notified shortly after the incident who are now searching for these 'smart' quartet.

Spanish media today had written that the Barcelona striker has suffered a broken jaw from the attack and have to subdue to operation.
