Next Friday on the Asian continent begins the most valuable and major tournament: the Asian Cup. For this competition all 24 coaches were obliged to give the final list of players that will take part. So, each of the 624 participants can be viewed and downloaded from the website of the organization which was published today.

Irregularities will be shown and heard
In order to be more transparent in this sport two world association members have come to an idea to eliminate the doubt of the video assistant referee system that is sparkling controversies from their national leagues. On 19 December 2023 it was decided that both will release images and audio conversations by the main judge and the locked men in blue at the room, and its debut will be applicable from this month.
For the first time in Spain everything is going to become public beginning from the three games of the Super Cup competition that are scheduled to be played in Saudi Arabia: 10 and 11 January at the semifinals and the final itself on 14 January. Then that newcomer is going to be used as well on LaLiga duels from round 20 (12 January) and phase 22 of the Segunda (second) division (15 January).
A similar decision has also announced the Mexican association when their championship will resume its plays from 12 January.

National historic legend banned on foreign stadium
In the following lines you can read how one local tournament should never be played outside its borders [no matter how much money football officials will earn after the selling rights, but if they still want to experience the same (shameful) scenario described below they are freely to do so].
Galatasaray and Fenerbahche was supposed to meet at the Turkiye Super Cup final last Friday night in Saudi Arabia. Nothing has ever suggested that something will go wrong and that this derby would go as planned. Prior to the game the two clubs have agreed to go out and wear the picture of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk (who is the founder of modern Turkiye 100 years ago) on their shirts during warm-up. However, the Saudi football authorities did not allow that to happen so the game was postponed. There was not any explanation from the hosts of why they were bothered with the figure of the politician.
Four days has passed after this news, and until today no one knows whether this game would be even played or not.

Help for the men in blue
Before the chip that is implanted inside the ball is going to arrive this summer in one championship, five months earlier one other will work on a different way, and all that purpose is to avoid any irregularities. Named as "Semi-automated offside technology system" this is going to check whether the player is in forbidden position. The Asian football organization would be the first ever to implement it, and its debut will be from next Friday at all 51 duels on its major event - the Asian Cup 2023 (2024).
With 12 specialised cameras this technology will follow the exact position of the ball and players. Precise and quick checks and on top of that using the artificial intelligence, the locked referees in the room would be able to draw immediately the offside lines (without waiting) where after the main one is informed. If there is any suspicion from the referee on the terrain then a three dimensional (3D) animation would be shown on the big screens on each stadia where the matches are played to justify the offside decision.
