Wishes of the confederations have been granted

They chose, and FIFA only confirmed. Couple of regions have asked the world football organization about their championship events to be moved, which was...of course approved last Friday.
On the second part in July this year the executive committee of the African football confederation proposed a shift of its national event. Instead of beginning of the year it is suggested, and now confirmed, that the African Cup of Nations will be played in the summer period (starting from 2019).
Next year also the South American championship is going to commence with edition number 46. Gathering for the forty seventh time we will not going to wait long: only 365 days (more or less). As from 2020, Copa America is going to be performed on even-numbered years (every 4).
