Return of the European competitions

The rest is over and now is time for the real business. After qualifiers and group stage games we have reached the third and final part of the European cups: knockout stage. As the winter break is over, from next week the real battle will begin in the first knockout round at the two European tournaments and no mistakes will be allowed anymore. National championships already begun, but who will have luck in these competitions we will find out in the following weeks.

First 4 matches of last 16 will begin mid week in the Champions league. All pairs are starting at the usual time from 20.45 CET.

Tuesday, 14 February: Benfica - Borussia Dortmund and PSG - Barcelona.

Wednesday, 15 February: Bayern Munich - Arsenal and Real Madrid - Napoli.

Sixteen more teams from its predecessor, Europa league in the new year starts from round of 32. This first leg will have 3 time slots.
