Restart of European club competitions from next week

On the first full initial week this month the international European club events will be back. Many things have changed (since last duels played) from 12 March, thus both completions are going to be in an unusual new way and a slightly different format from before. Instead of three, there are going to be four nights of non-stop football, while the most interesting tournament will start first.

We have come to the round of 16. The first knockout stage has been entirely completed, whilst in the second, Europa league was interrupted on the second leg games. However, as time is really short now, this will be totally unfair to four clubs where two duels are going to be decided in 90 minutes (or more) only.

Wednesday, 05 August at 18.55 CET: Kobenhavn - Basaksehir.
Wednesday, 05 August at 18.55 CET: Shakhtar Donetsk - Wolfsburg.

Wednesday, 05 August at 21.00 CET: Inter - Getafe (resolute just on one match).
Wednesday, 05 August at 21.00 CET: Manchester united - LASK.

Thursday, 06 August at 18.55 CET: Bayer Leverkusen - Glasgow rangers.
Thursday, 06 August at 18.55 CET: Sevilla - Roma (this duel is going to be decided only on this game).

Thursday, 06 August at 21.00 CET: Basel - Eintracht Frankfurt.
Thursday, 06 August at 21.00 CET: Wolverhampton - Olympiacos.

The Champions league event is also at the round of 16, second leg. Unlike its predecessor and like a slow turtle, this came barely near the finish as four more games have to be played in the first knockout phase, while the other four clubs have already qualified for the quarter finals. Merely one time slot is appearing here.

Friday, 07 August at 21.00 CET: Juventus - Olympique Lyonnais.
Friday, 07 August at 21.00 CET: Manchester city - Real Madrid.

Saturday, 08 August at 21.00 CET: Barcelona - Napoli.
Saturday, 08 August at 21.00 CET: Bayern Munich - Chelsea.
