Last Friday the Ukrainian football champions has announced that it has switched the hospitality place for the participation in the Champions league this fall.
Beginning in the group phase from next month and together with the knockout stages at 2024 (either in the same competition or the other) Shakhtar Donetsk will play at the Volksparkstadion that is located in the German town of Hamburg. For the whole time last season this club welcomed their opponents in Warsaw, Poland.
