Useless video system

Even if there is monitoring about anti-cheating in football at the European Champions league games there are plenty of mistakes in general. Either it looks like the video technology is not working properly or officials do not want to bring right decisions (using the video system). However, one other confederation took a different approach.
On 24 May Wydad Athletic club played with Esperance de Tunis in the final of the African Champions league. Although the technology was present in the first 90 minutes, the 43-year-old referee was scandalous. The home team complained to the president of the region stating that they were deprived of a valid goal and a clear penalty. An outcome: at the last Tuesday in May Gehad Grisha from Egypt was suspended for six months due to poor performance.
Seven nights later it was the return leg of these two teams. Everyone was thrilled to see and experience good fighting for the trophy until the end, but we only saw 59 minutes of play. The visiting striker Ismail Haddad scored an equalizing goal which was disallowed due to offside. Embittered and unsatisfied with the decision of the officials, the Moroccan team left the pitch. And the reason behind this was somewhat laughable: the referee could not watch the replay of the situation because the video was...inoperative.
