Last Saturday it was revealed that one of the best former Brazilian strikers Ronaldo Nazario de Lima together with the help of local investment bank XP have bought a club from Belo Horizonte. The transaction of purchasing Cruzeiro is not yet known, but Brazilian media reported that the 45-year-old is the majority shareholder of more than 90 percent with inputting 400 million reals (62.2 million euros). It is the first team from which commences his senior footballing career at 1993.
From 2018 the entrepreneur is also a president of Segunda division Spanish club Real Valladolid.
