If clubs spend more than they earn in that case they are in (big) trouble.
But eight of them did not paid much attention to that thus they have been punished for violating the financial fair play rule: Olympique de Marseille together with Monaco had to deliver 300.000 euros, Besiktas 600.000, Milan was eased with 2.000.000 euros, Juventus is penalized 3.500.000, 4.000.000 euros was the punishment for Inter, Roma delivered 5.000.000 while the biggest penalty was for PSG who had to renounce from the cashbox 10.000.000 euros. These octet were penalized on 02 September from the European football organization who considered books for financial years from 2018 up to 2022.
All amounts from the mentioned clubs will be deducted of the rewards competing in the international European leagues (Cups).
