On 27 June in the capital of Malaysia Kuala Lumpur it was performed the draw for the third qualifying phase for the World Cup 2026 event.
From the little balls 18 teams came out who were divided into 3 groups of six, where (only) Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and Palestine are the debutants in this round. Ending result of how everything looks is like this:
Group A: Islamic Republic of Iran, Qatar, Uzbekistan, United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, North Korea.
Group B: South Korea, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Palestine, Kuwait.
Group C: Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, People's Republic of China, Indonesia.
Ten match nights awaits each of the teams: commencing is scheduled for 05 September 2024 while the finish is 10 June 2025. Whoever is positioned on the first 2 spots, would qualify for the final elimination phase.
