In a catastrophic championship that is currently playing on the European continent one footballer has set couple of records.
With 16 years and 362 days Spanish striker Lamine Yamal became the youngest goal scorer in the history of this tournament. The target from the twentieth minute was an absolute beauty at the semifinal match against France which in this category beat the old record from Johan Volanthen (Switzerland) who at the event in 2004 had played with 18 years and 141 days.
Lamine Yamal also has become the youngest ever player to participate in these championships with 16 years and 338 days in a game against Croatia on 15 June or the youngest who had played in semifinals matches on big tournaments as well.
