Sharing stadio Olimpico with city rivals Lazio and Italian national rugby team is now part of a history.
Request for a new venue Roma submitted half a year ago, the project was delayed many times and finally last Friday night they received the green light. At the start of past weekend this news was announced by mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi in the city council.
This new stadium will be located in the suburb of Rome, Tor di Valle, which is filled with a green area. Not wanting to destroy such beauty there were complaints from many environmentalists and politicians about the project. The club has announced that during construction will respect all ecological norms and that the business part of the building will be reduced to a minimum.
