Social network almost like a television

From 2019 up until 2022 on the official page of Copa Libertadores, Facebook will broadcast in total 46 live games from this tournament on a yearly basis. This privilege are intended only for the South American users (10 members of CONMEBOL confederation) where 27 duels will be covered on Thursday up until the quarterfinal stage in an exclusive content, plus 19 games from Tuesday or Wednesday (one duel per week) are going to be available for the Spanish speaking users through the video platform 'Watch'. The agreement also includes summaries and highlights, but television will broadcast midweek matches from the competition as well. 'We are very happy to add to Facebook, the social network with the greatest reach in South America and the world, as one of our partners for the transmission of our prestigious CONMEBOL Libertadores' are the words of Juan Emilio Roa, commercial president of teams in CONMEBOL region. Of course, the financial terms of the deal from four days ago stayed in secrecy.
Recently the Internet network also acquired rights for the both European club tournaments for this continent (Champions and Europa league), together with LaLiga matches in South Asia (predominantly in India).
