Starting from 2021, the following events: men and women futsal championship, youth 20 futsal championship and beach football championship plus each of the youth tournaments from the Asian continent, will be a part of the AFC Asian Cup family. Four days ago the region has decided to remodel all of the mentioned tournaments into a single name in order for those to have a better promotion and be watched all over. Also this is an easier move for the confederation, so when television stations are negotiating rights they can show the above events as well, and all of that will be bought under one price.
Elimination rounds for youth 17 and 20 Asian Cup for females (both in 2022) are going to be the first tournaments to be seen as the new Asian Cups package.
