Over the past month organizers of the African Cup of nations 2023 (2024) has announced two decisions that affects the whole competition.
Puma, which is an official supplier of the confederation, revealed that in each match " Pokou" is going to be used. The ball was named after the legend from the host country Laurent Pokou.
On the last day of October the song of the event became familiar. "Akwaba" is the title which it got it from one of the largest ethnicity in the country Baoule. It translates as "welcome", and this was also named the mascot of the tournament as well from the summer.
