UEFA against estelada

The European football organization definitely not want the Catalan flag (popularly known as estelada) to appear on its stadiums. Throughout the just finished Champions league tournament, Barcelona is punished with 150.000 euros because its fans were waving with - esteladas.
Last month the Catalans launched an appeal in Spanish court over the same reason and they won it for the Copa del Rey final. Now they are doing the same, but the guilty party this time is UEFA, as the club thinks that is against freedom of expression. Spanish's champion on its website stated that 'Barcelona announce that the club has received notice of the sanction imposed by the UEFA disciplinary committee following the display of estelada flags at the Camp Nou at Champions League matches in the 2015-16 season'.
