Saved at the last minute

In order not to forfeit the game, CAF has moved Benin and Equatorial Guinea match for today. This is an excellent chance for the hosts even to go through to the finals and the African football organization has agreed to postpone the game for seven days. And with a win Benin will have an excellent chance to be at Gabon early next year who will decide its own fate at the final game against Mali in Bamako this September.
For the game itself, Benin desperately need to write these three points. The team is in a very good form as they are recording only victories at home unlike Equatorial Guinea poor games. The visitors simply find it difficult to even draw or record a victory when are playing away games but will not give up without a fight, that is for sure. Stuck at the bottom of group C with one point, Equatorial Guinea lost its chances to make it to the finals. And that draw was earned against this same rival at home. We expect the home side will record its third victory in the game which starts at 17.00 CET.
