Two teams can join last 16 this morning

Second day of the group C clashes bring us two games where two teams can already reach the next stage in this early phase. After Peru failed yesterday to seal first place in group B by becoming only the second team after Colombia to reach the last 16, this morning two new contenders are 'on the wall' to progress through.

- Uruguay - Venezuela. Despite losing their first entertaining game against Mexico, Uruguay is still considering one of the title favorites. This morning they face Venezuela, who with a win can advance to the quarterfinals. But with plenty of stars in the team Uruguay should write first three points while their opponents will definitely try to resist and cannot slip this one knowing that on day three Venezuela have to win a much tougher opponent.
- Mexico - Jamaica. Probably the Caribbean country is facing the most difficult opponent this morning as no one seems to stop Mexico at the moment. With another loss, on its second participation in the tournament, Jamaica will definitely be out from the next phase. On the other hand mighty Mexicans are on a good form, new three points are guaranteed for them, they should record it easily but we are doubtful that Mexico will show a similar Brazilian performance from yesterday.
