First two games from day two which starts this morning

Yesterday day one was completed with a fantastic and exciting last game. And this morning day two is on with two group A matches.

- USA - Costa Rica. Troubled hosts come first in this day two opening night (LT). Having lost their first game from the group favorites, USA desperately need a win if they want to progress through to the knock out, because if the team slip up here will be definitely out of the competition. Bottom placed team is opposing unfavorable Costa Rica who in past years is causing so much trouble against USA. This central American country with tonight's rival are achieving some wins and even some draws, so it will not be easy to beat them. On the other hand the USA are playing awfully lately as their form is going rapidly down. However with this game there are not more options left and if they wants to be seen in later stages the team knows what to do: their approach has to be aggressive from second one and the win will come by itself. From a difficult game and with one goal advantage USA will write first three points at this tournament.
- Colombia - Paraguay. These South American rivals are playing (almost) constantly. They know each other pretty well, their advantages / disadvantages, both are winning over the other, but will they adopt to the new (unfamiliar) pitch is the real question. Colombia answered very well in their opening match and already send signals to the others in the group that wants the number one spot. Paraguay from a disappointed first day obviously did not adopt it well. With already one point they can hope of snatching that 'golden' second place with their remaining games. This morning maybe we will see the first team who will qualify for the quarter finals as Colombia proves to be too strong for the Paraguayans.
