Low ranked Asian countries continues with qualifying process towards the Asian Cup. Last four games will give us the answer which team will go automatically into the third and long qualifiers. Those four winners will join Malaysia who yesterday beat again Timor
Leste to progress through while the losers will have its last chance to be at the finals from this fall.
- Bangladesh - Tajikistan. Having done part of the job in the first leg with a five goals,
Tajikistan will enter into the game unballasted. They cannot be relaxed too much as
Cambodia is almost unbeatable at home. Over relaxation may turn that the final result be a stalemate but a slight advantage goes to the visitors for a win.
- Cambodia - Chinese Taipei. This can be easily called a derby in this stage out from the
other four. After last week’s surprise result, Chinese Taipei has nothing to lose and have to
attack from minute one (if they want to be rest in September / October. Cambodia is looking excellent, confident at home who rarely loses a match and Chinese Taipei have difficulties to adopt away from home. Tricky game to predict but we think that it will be (another) stalemate.
- India - Laos. India’s minimal victory from the first leg just proves how strong the team is. India is looking very confident at home against a Laos side who is recording some draws and loses while playing away. Knowing that 1:0 is not a good result and Laos will attack from the start, India have to record a victory so it can have (deserved) break from the second play off.
- Yemen - Maldives. At the last, late night game in Doha, Qatar another favorite 'home' team is favorite to close these qualifiers. No matter where they play Yemen are playing positively and against Maldives should record another easy victory, Island country in the Indian ocean should not worry too much as they will have another chance to continue their path towards the finals.
