Reduced sentence

On 05 October, in a World Cup qualifying game against Argentina, Paolo Guerrero was tested for metabolite benzoylecgonine. In the middle of the month the world football association (FIFA) gave him a one year suspension and everybody feared that this great player will miss the biggest football event next summer.
Ten days ago FIFA cut this sentence in half. That means that the Peru captain will return on the pitch on 03 May, one month before the start of the World Cup. As the 33 year old striker is not pleased with the verdict, the Flamengo player announced that the fight will go on until completely clear his name.
