Portuguese club in trouble

For the past two years Benfica is facing corruption charges after the public prosecutor today has accused the club of bribing investigative judges. Supposedly, the team wanted to know upfront what kind of files there are against them (Benfica) and their league opponents. And, to be more worse for them, two employees of the court are also accused. The Portuguese football federation announced that is conducting its own investigation on this matter. Benfica will fight against these accusations, but if these malversations are true then the team may be thrown out from their national championship plus European Cups and face serious consequences.
