Renovation of Santiago Bernabeu

Since 2001 Real Madrid did not renovate its stadium, and now (18 years later) the clubs president Florentino Perez think that it is perfect time to do it again. This Monday it was revealed that renewal will cost 525 million euros, and if this project succeeds, the new futuristic look of the stadium is going to bring back income of 150 million euros on a yearly basis in the club. Annual rate of the loan would be about 25 million euros. If permission from local authorities is given, then works will begin in early 2019, and should last three and a half years.
The lone construction of Santiago Bernabeu will remain intact, so that the club uninterruptedly can play its matches at home. When is finished, apart from retractable roof, spectators are going to enjoy plenty of technological novelties inside the object.
