Suspended punishment

We all remember the ugly scenes from the end of last November where AEK and Ajax played their duel at the Champions league. The violence began before the match, was shifted into the stadium where the home supporters threw flares (and a petrol bomb) inside the sector of the visiting fans which some were left with bloody faces, however no arrests was made at the end by the police. From that moment on it was clear and expected that the club will pay a dearly price for these incidents and that was proved last Friday from the European football organization. The verdict for fireworks, throwing objects, crowd disturbances, inappropriate banner, field invasion and poor organization are: 80.000 euros plus for the next two European matches the Greek side must completely close its venue. Also, the club was presented two years suspended penalty probationary period for both European competitions.
