As it was said on 23 August it started the Ukrainian championship for 2022-23 or for the fifteenth time. Despite all the problems that this country have on its soil, it looked like that everything would go as planned but that was not the case.
Because life has to go on and football can not be stopped playing, this season is very much different than the others. Previously agreed by all clubs each of the arenas have to have a shelter in a range of 500 metres in case the air-raid siren should sound out. That is exactly what happened on a duel between Rukh and Metalist where the kick-off was delayed, and then completely called off for the same reason. One day later Mynai and Lviv have experienced the identical scenario.
