Eight days ago the European football organization has announced who entered into the award process for the best player of the continent for last season. There are 15 candidates for this trophy and all of them can be found and read on the website of the confederation. Who will win the prizes for 2021-22 season would be discovered at the group stage ceremony for the Champions league on Thursday, 25 August in Istanbul, Turkey.
Beside this reward three more are going to be given on this date together with the topmost footballer at each four positions (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and attacker) for male and female category.
