It looks like an above policeman in each duel will detect any irregularities that players might do starting from the third elimination round, and this would happen for the first time at international European club event.
Due to the importance of the upcoming matches on 29 July the confederation has decided that video assistant referees have to be installed on stadia. However, not all three competitions will enjoy this accurate technology system: the privilege is going to be for Champions league only (for now).
Until nowadays qualifying club duels were exempted to be appointed on the arenas, instead they were being used two phases later (from the group stages and onwards) in each of the three tournaments.
