The extended version of the following competition had to commence at 2021 with 24 teams, but due to natural circumstances now it is going to start in 2025.
First under an expanded format and a completely destroyed event, in two years time the Club World Cup would count 32 clubs. On 23 June the world football organization has decided that the hosting country will be United states of America, and the playing period would be held in summer months of June / July.
