Latest female entered as official

As a part of an anti-corruption program in the region, CONMEBOL has appoint Monserrat Jimenez as interim general director. From 2014 she is a legal advisor for the Paraguay FA.
The Paraguayan attorney became the latest female, after FIFA secretary general Fatma Samoura, who are encouraged to enter in football institutions as administrative officials. Her countryman and president of the region Alejandro Dominguez has very high opinion for Jimenez by saying that 'she has the capacity, integrity and temperament to build a new CONMEBOL'.
Jimenez inherits another lawyer Gorka Villar, who left the institution last month, as a general director.
