Scandalous UEFA

Decision not to pick either Lionel Messi or Luis Suarez for the European best player award is shocking, Omitting those two UEFA has done (one of) the biggest mistake. This was the view of Barcelona's vice president Jordi Mestre, who talked about South Americans duo on Catalonian channel TV3 and adds that 'the club are very disappointed and angry'.
On Friday, the European football organization has decided to narrow down candidates to only three players: Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale from Real Madrid and Antoine Griezmann who plays for Atletico Madrid. It is believed that the criteria for choosing these three were for the performance on this summer's EURO 2016 tournament, and not for the incredible goal scoring technique(s) last season (41 goals on all competitions / 26 in Primera Division for Messi and 'only' 40 in La Liga / 59 goals in all events for Suarez).
The winner will be announced 25 August, on the day when Champions league groups will be known for the new 2016/17 season.
