Play off opening games

After a week break, fight for the Champions league group stages are resuming tonight with the final qualifying round. Around 22.36 CET we are going to find out first leg results from the following pairs:

- Ajax - Rostov. As hosts, Ajax does not play very well as they are showing some (big) oscillations in the games. However Rostov looks quite confident and since their last competitive game in Anderlecht they must be regarded as a serious opponent. This may be called a little derby of the night both teams can score goals, their level of play will be very high at this stage, any mistakes will be punished, but no one will celebrate at the end.
- Dinamo Zagreb - Red Bull Salzburg. Croatian champions at home are recording only victories but this evening comes a serious rival which which have never beaten in previous occasions. Red Bull Salzburg would like very much to finish off the game in the first leg, and as they are still adapting to the new season, having some difficulties in play the Austrians will barely come victorious (again).
- FC Copenhagen - APOEL Nicosia. In these competitive games Scandinavian football looks to be very positive. Win in every match FC Copenhagen will try to finish of the tie at home by just knowing that APOEL Nicosia are playing awfully away. The Cypriots will try to score at least a goal but the real question is how much they will receive.
- Young Boys - Borussia Moenchengladbach. From first sight Young Boys may easily win tonight's game against not so attractive Borussia Moenchengladbach side. But lately the Swiss runner-up are achieving some mixed results at home and they do not look very confident to win. Germans (of course) will be very happy of that as they are now favorites. Their last meeting end up in an exciting draw last month, but this month the visiting team would rejoice.
