Russian fans can choose their own mascot for the next main football event in their country. At this final stage, candidates are: a cat, a tiger and a wolf. This campaign started from May 2015 as 51.000 Russian youngsters submitted their innovative creations on an online survey and the trio was presented today at 20.18 LT (19.18 CET) at the Circle of light Moscow international festival.
The winner will represent the official mascot of the World Cup 2018 in Russia on 21 October in a live TV broadcast.
