'Mocking' bet

We all know that Celtic and Glasgow Rangers supporters cannot stand each other, but that 'hate' now has been transferred onto the players in a way of bad result towards the other club.
Scottish FA has opened an investigation on Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joey Barton. Allegedly he was gambling on Celtic's humiliating defeat (7:0) from Barcelona in the first round of the Champions league. The association has strict rule that players and officials are forbidding to place bets on football games.
To add more 'misery' to the 34 year old, Barton was suspended by the club after a training disagreement last week.
