CONCACAF is going into action

On the second day of World Cup qualifiers it is time to introduce the third continental zone. In its program tonight North, Central American and Caribbean countries will play the fifth leg from penultimate fourth round. Considering the fact that this, also, penultimate leg can determine the travelers to the last stage, six teams are in fierce battle to snatch that second 'automatic' place that will guarantee them to play at the hexagonal event later this year.

- St. Vincent and the Grenadines - United States of America. Given the fact that St. Vincent and the Grenadines are the worst possible team from all twelve, USA is considered to be favorites for the match. Lately USA are playing awfully bad and, in this campaign they are having troubles to score goals as visitors. However tonight, Stars and Stripes have to step out from that 'fear' and with a convincing win should make a step closer for the final round.
- Honduras - Canada. This game looks to be very crucial for Canada. The Reds simply have to write a win if they want to go one round further, but with this form it will be hard to do so. And that is why Honduras can count on new three points and keeping their World Cup dream alive. This match can determine second place team in group A.
- Trinidad and Tobago - Guatemala. Matches between these two sides are very intense so this can be called a derby game in the early morning. Guatemala is so, so close of reaching the final stage and have simply to win the game if they want to challenge USA for that second spot in the final game next week. However, group C leaders Trinidad and Tobago are not a easy opponent to beat and this could well end up on being one of the entertaining match of this leg. Their past meetings are showing mixed results, the home team with a win can end the doubts of who will be first in the group, but Guatemala will not allow it.
- Haiti - Costa Rica. Playing last against first in group B, there is no doubt about the winner here. Haiti, who is in awful form, are struggling to record its first victory unlike Costa Rica who receives only praises. We are seeing many times that leaders are relaxed in the later games in the competition, so here the home team have a chance to do something. But that 'surprise' will not happen here as we 
can not see how the hosts can oppose their giant rivals who will write new three points.
- Panama - Jamaica. With a win Panama can only strengthen second place. Jamaica can not slip this match, and if they want to progress to the next stage the Reggae Boyz have to be victorious here. On their previous meetings Jamaica is causing lots of troubles and just explains it would not be easy playing them. The hosts looks like they will take the game, but Jamaica can surprise them with a draw.
- El Salvador - Mexico. The only known team who will participate in the hexagonal tournament is Mexico. El Salvador, who is yet to record a victory, unfortunately will postpone that for another time as merciless Mexico did not receive any goal in previous four matches. Without even saying it, who the winner will be in this game, we have to see some plenty of goals from the Mexicans.
