Dismissed plan of renaming famous place

The Rio de Janeiro vice governor only had to sign the law (papers) of renaming the famous stadium in their state and the whole world (into Rei Pele). However, after much protest and critics mainly from the public, on 08 April the Brazilian politician Claudio Castro did not put his signature, therefore the change did not succeed and the plan was abandoned. In the end, the official name of the arena will remain as Mario Filho, but everyone of us is going to call it simply by the neighborhood it is situated in - Maracana.
