After the absence of two years, the awards ceremony for best African players is back. In a rather unusual month, the program was held at Mohamed VI technical centre in Rabat, Morocco where 12 prizes were given.
For men and women category there were six awards each, and those were chosen by selected journalists, officials of the confederation, captains and coaches. In the most interesting section Sadio Mane of Senegal has been crowned the best player of Africa for 2022. You can read the full list on the continental website dated from 21 July.
