Three days ago the North, Central America and Caribbean confederation has announced the candidates for best player of 2022. Captains and coaches of every 41 member association together with journalists from this region will choose from six names that are nominated in both male and female section. Each fan is encouraged to participate by giving voice to the favourite footballer through their website where the complete list is shown. Voting process is going to end on 13 April.
Candidates were selected based on statistical performance and football technical experts.
