Remaining games to be played tonight

Champions league action continue tonight with last seven matches only to round up the competitions' second qualifying round, first leg.

- Rosenborg - Norrkoping. In this Scandinavian derby these two teams perfectly know each other. New championship season is well underway in Norway and Sweden so both teams are very well prepared for the game. Currently Rosenborg lead the table opposing to their rivals who are in second place. However the Norwegian team is in slight advantage over the Swedish champions, as they rely on very strong defence.
- Zalgiris - Astana. Also another very good match as both champions are in good form. New championship season is ongoing in both countries and in its first official meeting last year participant in the group stage, Astana, looks to be favorites by taking this game.
- Ludogorets Razgrad - Mladost Podgorica. The hosts are merciless at home as are recording only victories. Montenegrin side is playing awful football at the moment so it would be question of how many goals the Bulgarians will score in the match.
- Crusaders - FC Copenhagen. Recently Crusaders are playing very well oppose to their known rivals who suddenly lost their winning form. If they want to salvage their season the Danish side has to win this game.
- Partizani - Ferencvaros. Last week Albanian replacement Partizani will try to oppose the great Ferencvaros side. This meeting looks to have a predetermined winner on paper (Ferencvaros), but Albanians, who are playing at home, will try to at least stall them with a draw.
- Olimpija Ljubljana - Trencin. Slovenian champions looks to have lost its winning form but, nevertheless have to win this meeting against Trencin if they want to advance to the next stage. But Slovakian team have other calculations and are attacking for victory in this game, who, it would not be easy. Trencin might take it, but looks like we will have no winner.
- Dundalk - Hafnarfjordur. Last game of the evening the Republic of Ireland champions will take of Hafnarfjordur, who lately, are achieving positive results. Surely the Icelandic team wants to do something more in the match before the second leg at home, but the Irish will prove to be too strong for them.

  1. Norrkoping will meet Rosenborg in today's game played at Östgötaporten Stadium. In their last meeting, Rosenborg won the match with 3:1. I wonder if J. Gustafsson 's team prepared us with a surprise for today. Based on the past results of the two teams, I would expect for Rosenborg to perform well during this meeting and win this game. It should be interesting to see if Christian Gytkjær will score during this match as he has a good average in terms of goals scored / match.
