Messi convicted

One of the best football player in the world Lionel Messi is convicted to 21 months in prison. However it is unlikely that the Barcelona star will serve jail sentence. Together with his father, Jorge Horacio Messi are accused on three counts on tax evasion and used tax havens Uruguay and Belize to hide money from Spanish authorities of 4.1 million euros from image rights from 2007 to 2009. Barcelona court also ordered Messi to pay 2 million and his father 1.5 million euros fine for tax fraud.
