First 90 minutes of anxiety

We are only 180 minutes away (or more in some cases) from entering group stages in both European league competitions. At second part of this month, first half will be played of matches where some new teams will be introduced, in total - 5.

Five new clubs are going straight into the play off round of the Champions league. Various kick-off times in this competition is over, but due to time difference with Azerbaijan one match will start earlier. Pairs are equally divided and are going to be played over two days.

Tuesday, 15 August at 18.00 CET: Qarabag - FC Copenhagen.

Tuesday, 15 August at 20.45 CET: APOEL Nicosia - Slavia Prague, Hoffenheim - Liverpool, Sporting - Steaua, Young Boys Bern - CSKA Moscow.

Wednesday, 16 August at 20.45 CET: Basaksehir - Sevilla, Celtic - Astana, Hapoel Beer Sheva - Maribor, Napoli - Nice, Olympiacos - Rijeka.

In apart from its predecessor, Europa league still have different starting times. As in this tournament there are no new teams for this round, we are going to see old clubs from previous stage back in action (again): 29 winners from this competition plus 15 losing sides who transferred from Champions league (and both are coming from third qualifying phase).
