On 21 July UEFA gave a 50.000 euro fine plus one match behind close doors for Hajduk due to racist behavior from their supporters against Levski Sofia. That game was played 8 days earlier for the second qualifying round, first leg in the Europa league.
However, that decision was very 'harsh', so the organization today has corrected itself and reduced both penalties for the club from Split. Now they have to pay 15.000 less (35.000 euros) and close at least 500 seats or one sector on their stadium 'Poljud' for the next European game against Brondby this Thursday.
