02 August 2021

Beginning is from three, and not one

Two elimination phases are down (behind us) and there are two to go. With the new month comes one (a little bit forgotten) tournament, which now the third (and debut) event has stole its glory. Hence each of the trio are going to have an identical title: next week across the European continent commences the international club action with the third (also known as penultimate) qualifying round which will count as the first 90 minutes.

Champions league have three repetitive kick off times on two consecutive nights. To a surprise of many, more duels are played on the first than the second.
