Earlier this week, the 2022 organizing committee has said that it will construct fan village between sand dunes near Saudi Arabian border. These constructing tents should accept 2.000 guests. 'We will allow the visitors from outside the country to enjoy Qatar and their football experience in an entirely new way', said organizational committee member Abdulaziz Ali al-Mawlawi.
The Gulf state is racing with time to place all football spectators in hotels or private houses as many predicts neighboring countries will 'steal' the profit in terms of accommodation. If they fail meeting the demand and keep all the fans, projects like this might only grow.
