Thailand wants to play away from home as hosts

Last Thursday at the age of 88 unfortunately died the monarch of Thailand king Bhumibol Adulyadej and since then mourning has been declared throughout the country on one year. Because of that many sporting activities has been cancelled.
One upcoming World cup qualifier match that Thailand should play on 15 November against Australia is now under big question. This game will surely go ahead as planned, but on foreign soil. The football association has requested from Australia and the Asian Football Confederation for relocation of the game. 'We have discussed two options with FIFA. First, we are hoping for an agreement with Australia to let us play an away match first. Second, we might have to find a neutral venue to play if the first option fails', said the spokesman Patit Supapong.
All parties are connected with FIFA so the final decision will be known soon.
