Santiago Bernabeu's new look

Many clubs around the world are remodeling their stadiums into marvelous and stunning architectures. Barcelona introduced its project in March for their Camp Nou, and now it is time to present ideas from their fierce rivals from the Spain's capital.
The city rejected Real Madrid several times on their ideas, but these days they finally approved a new project. With new facade and retractable roof Santiago Bernabeu will be a modern stadium which will cost 400 million euros. 'We will see a dramatic transformation of the Santiago Bernabeu. This stadium is one of the emblematic icons of our city and we want to make it one of the best stadiums in the world and the undisputed symbols of the strength of our capital' said president Florentino Perez. Constructions will start next year and is expected to be ready by 2020. Initially, the club wants to build a hotel and shopping centre near the stadium, but the city is not too happy about it.
One of the financiers is the International Petroleum Investment company an investment fund from Abu Dhabi.
