Uncovering new scandal in South America

Earlier this week CONMEBOL has fell into a new affair. This time the 'guilty party' is 2007 event of Copa America which was played in Venezuela.
Maybe he did it out of guilt or conscience, former mayor of Maracaibo Giancarlo di Martino confessed that he bribed with one million dollars top officials at the organization to award his city the championships final. At that time CONMEBOL's president Nicolas Leoz, who later was charged in FIFA worldwide scandal, was part of it.
After the recognition, president Alejandro Dominguez has condemned the corruption and he ordered thorough investigation into the matter.
